Overview
Tasks on tickets are typically assigned to groups, or individuals, responsible for completing specific sub-components of work. If the task is assigned to the incorrect responsible party it can be reassigned. The following will guide you on how to reassign the responsible party for working on a task from one person/group to another.
What materials do I need?
- Internet access
- Web browser
- TDWorkManagement license
How do I use this technology?
- Open the ticket task you need to reassign.
- Click the Edit button.
- In the Responsible field, delete the existing entry.
- Type the name of the group, or person for the new responsible entity.
- Click Save button at the top of the Task window.
- After the change has been saved, click To Detail button to return to the task detail view.
- Click the Comment button, and enter a note/message as to why you are reassigning the task. Optionally, the comment can be marked as private.
- Click Save.
